I have enjoyed my two years at Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS). Since I was not new to the hostel life, it was rather easy for me to settle down. But even for first time hostlers, it was not tough, thanks to the ever helping seniors and faculty members. KIAMS is known for its friendly atmosphere, and you got to be there to believe this. Seniors don’t treat you like juniors; rather they treat you like a family member, offering help even before you ask for it.
When you join a professional course, you need to put in a lot of hard work and juggle with many activities. Naturally, sometimes the pressure gets better of you. Thankfully, in such situations you have friends and seniors who pitch in to bail you out. Believe me, the whole atmosphere at KIAMS is conducive to growth and takes unnecessary pressure off the student. Many of our seniors are now working after passing out, and we are still in touch with them. Through them we get to know the real market situation and also the ever changing requirements of the mercurial market.
Administrative staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Whenever you face any difficulty, they always give you a patient hearing and make every effort to resolve it.
I must admit that although I am friendly in nature, but I am very choosy when it comes to making friends. But here, I have made many friends who are going to be big managers in future.
I am not much of a sports person. But during my spare time, I write blog and sometimes pen down poems. These two years have been the best years of my life and I am going to remember everything for the rest of my life.
In a few days time, some good companies are coming for placement interviews. I have done my majors in operations and look forward to get a suitable placement.
